This small, unique Medicare Certified Transitional Care Unit will serve individuals for short-term rehabilitative care following a hospital stay at Logansport Memorial or neighboring hospitals, allowing them to continue their therapy and skilled nursing care in a convenient and familiar location. “We’re pleased that Miller’s will bring their experience in post-acute care and rehabilitation to the space we carefully designed for this purpose,” stated Brian Shockney, CEO of Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Now, whether patients from the Logansport area receive care at MemorialHospital or at another hospital out of town, they can come to The Arbor in their own neighborhood for rehabilitation before they go home.”At The Arbor, attending physicians are able to prescribe a full range of restorative therapies for their patients, including speech, occupational and physical therapies using state-of-the-art advanced therapeutic technologies.The Arbor features private and shared room accommodations.
