The Wakarusa Home, located in Elkhart County Indiana, was built in 1983 by the Miller family. Several additions were made over the years. This facility is licensed for 133 beds; including several large private rooms and 22 Medicare certified beds. In 2000 Miller's developed Miller's Senior Living Community when 40 Assisted Living Apartments were built. An additonial 21 apartments were added in 2002. Miller's Senior Living now has 61 apartments, offering 2-bedroom, 1-bedroom and studio apartment accommodations. In the Summer of 2007, 12 Private Medicare Suites were added.
