The Sullivan Home, located in Sullivan County Indiana was opened in 1965 by O.R. 'Pete' and Mary Blubaugh. This was the county's first long-term care facility. The 55-bed facility was called the Sullivan Nursing Home. In 1967, 22 more beds were added and in 1970 a new building was built across the street adding 98 more beds to the organization.

In 1981 the Miller family purchased the facility. The facility is licensed for 93 beds, which includes 93 Medicare certified beds. In 2003 Miller's brought 16 assisted living apartments to Sullivan, expanding into Miller's Senior Living Community. By 2005, Miller's Senior Living had a total of 32 apartments including 1-bedroom, studio and efficiency accommodations. In 2008 Miller's added several Private Medicare Suites, serving the short-term rehabilition needs of Sullivan County.
